Founder and owner of Golden Cabinet Medical Healing Center, world renowned Dr. Drew Francis has established himself as the premiere integrative doctor (utilizing both Oriental and Western medicine systems to assess and treat patients) of Los Angeles since 1991. Dr. Francis began his career in medicine and natural healing while studying at the University of Colorado, Boulder. After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles and began his Master’s study in Oriental Medicine at the California Acupuncture College in 1981. His studies included a special international program for doctors at Nanjing College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, while simultaneously interning at the largest hospital in Jiangsu province, PRC. After returning to the U.S. in 1985 he developed an extensive following that included many celebrities and athletes. He traveled and supported the tennis player John McEnroe from 1985-89. He is one of the first Diplomats of Acupuncture to be accredited from the National Commission for Certification of Acupuncturist in May 1985 and obtained his California license in June 1986. He has also graduated from the Institute of Functional Medicine Advanced Training for Functional medicine doctors in 2000.
During the next 20 years Dr. Francis has developed an integrative medical approach to common clinical conditions. His mission is to improve patient outcomes through prevention, early assessment and the comprehensive management of complex and chronic diseases. |
